Today art has a different language of expressions where Photography also coming into lead because every tenth person is handling camera in this technological world but actually photography is not about handling the camera it’s about having an eye of imagination to catch the world so beautifully on their camera, which depicts the stories and art of life. We feel photographers can change the perspective of others through their lenses and for having a conversation on this, the first time we invited senior photographer and journalist Saurabh Srivastava.
He explained the features of photography where photos are not just a click of a button, he mainly focused on the street photography that clicking pictures on streets are not the same; it is about getting the subject for telling the storyline of one’s picture. He explained the emotions attach to every picture where it gives an understanding of the story behind the subject present in that picture. He tried to clear out the misconceptions related to photography. He also talked about the artistic values of every photographer who is chasing their passion in this category.
We conducted it as an evening show in our Bewajah Café where audience respond soulfully and gave us a successful event where our first step in exploring the aspect of photography becomes a great step ahead for us and we are expecting to have more workshop or events like this, which can help youth photographers to learn and have vision.
