The Youth Addas are dynamic spaces for critical dialogue and collective reflection, designed to engage young people on various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and encourage them to become active participants in social change. Powered by Pravah, this initiative brings together youth from diverse backgrounds to discuss, question, and understand pressing social, economic, and environmental issues that affect their communities and the world at large.
Through theseinteractive sessions, we have connected with over 1,500 youth from multiple colleges and districts across Uttar Pradesh. The Youth Addas create an open, non-judgmental environment where young people feel empowered to voice their opinions, share experiences, challenge assumptions, and explore solutions collaboratively. Each adda focuses on a specific SDG theme — such as gender equality, climate action, quality education, or good health and well-being — and uses creative methods like group discussions, activities, role-plays, and storytelling to make the sessions engaging and relatable.
Beyond raising awareness, Youth Addas aim to nurture critical thinking, leadership skills, and a sense of social responsibility among participants. By sparking dialogue and encouraging action, this initiative helps build a generation of youth who are informed, empathetic, and motivated to contribute to sustainable development in their communities and beyond.
